According to Alberta Health Services, the Pincher Creek Health Centre Emergency Department will be open Monday night and is resuming 24/7 coverage, avoiding a scheduled temporary closure Monday and Wednesday night.
Last Wednesday, the provincial health authority released a closure schedule due to a lack of physician coverage. Between July 26 and August 2, the department had four scheduled closures.
