The Fort Macleod Emergency Department will be closed until 7:15 p.m. on Monday due to a lack of nurses.
During the closure, nursing staff will remain on-site to care for long-term care residents.
Any EMS calls will be re-routed to Lethbridge and those looking to access emergency services can do so at Pincher Creek Health Centre, Cardston Health Centre or Chinook Regional Hospital here in Lethbridge.
Alberta Health Services also reminds residents to contact 811 at any time for any health related non-emergency questions.
The Emergency Department closed at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4.
