Pedestrian suffers broken leg after being hit at crosswalk, police look for witnesses

Lethbridge police are looking for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and suffered a broken leg.

Police say a white car or small SUV hit the person on Nov. 28 around 5:20 p.m. as they The were crossing 13th street south at the 5th avenue crosswalk with the pedestrian light flashing overhead.

Police say the car made no attempt to stop and ask anyone who saw the incident or may have dashcam footage of it to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
