Water quality advisory lifted for Enchant Municipal Park Pond

The water quality advisory for the Enchant Municipal Park Pond has been lifted.

According to Alberta Health Service officials, the water quality has returned to an acceptable level, and the health risks when using the pond for recreation are low. The change in water quality resulted in health officials lifting the advisory as of 3:12 p.m. Wednesday.

Even with the lifting of the advisory, it is still advised to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any lake or reservoir.
