Crews will be doing traffic light repairs at a busy intersection on the west side, starting Wednesday morning.
According to City of Lethbridge officials, starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, the traffic lights at the University Drive and Garry Drive intersection will be turned off. While the lights are disabled, making the intersection will be a four-way stop, with temporary traffic controls in place during the work.
As a safety precaution, the right-hand northbound and southbound lanes of University Drive will merge into the left-hand lanes before the intersection. Weather permitting, the work will be done and the traffic lights will be back up and running by late Thursday.
