Sewer repair work slows traffic in north Lethbridge

Lethbridge motorists in the city’s north end may experience delays as sewer repair work continues along 13 Street North.

Officials state crews are working in the 1200 block of 13 Street North, where lane restrictions and detours remain in place between 11 Avenue and 13 Avenue North.

Northbound traffic has been redirected into the parking lane and the speed limit through the construction zone has been reduced to 30 km/h.

The southbound lane remains closed, with detours available for drivers travelling through the area.

City officials said the work is expected to be completed by May 19, weather permitting.
