Lethbridge man charged after woman allegedly sexually assaulted in show home

A Lethbridge man is facing charges, accused of sexually assaulting a sales associate at a local show home.

Police say the 23 year old woman was working at the show home on Wednesday this week when a man came in and asked to view another house down the block.

The woman to him to the empty home and and when they were both inside, he allegedly sexually assaulted her in the basement.

The victim quickly called her coworkers for help and one showed up just as the suspect was driving way. LPS were able to track down the man down a short time later and made an arrest.

42 year old Maneesh Khokar of Lethbridge is facing a charge of sex assault and has been released from jail under several conditions.

Lethbridge Police say this was a random crime, noting the victim and suspect are unknown to each other.

Pat grew up in the small Saskatchewan farming town of Foam Lake. After high school, he went to Western Academy Broadcasting College (WABC) in Saskatoon prior to moving to the island.

Pat also spent several years broadcasting hockey in the BCHL as well as seven years as the radio voice of the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the WHL.

Pat has been working at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Lethbridge as a Certified Life Celebrant and Funeral Assistant since 2016.

News and sports have always been Pat’s passion from the time he was a teenager and he’s always been grateful to have had the opportunity to make that part of what’s been a fun and long radio career!
