Interfaith Food Bank Volunteer Drive

Interfaith Food Bank is actively recruiting volunteers to assist in multiple departments, and welcomes applications from community members of all ages and ability levels. Unfortunately walk-in opportunities are not available, but applications are accepted year round, and opportunities are matched with the interests, abilities, and availability of those that apply. Current openings include:• Client Services – volunteers help with reception of clients, processing client orders, lifting andcarrying food hampers, data entry and connecting clients with community resources
• Operations – volunteers assist with sorting and repackaging food and other items, building food hampers, stocking shelves, filling food orders, cleaning floors and tables and other general warehouse tasks
• Community Engagement – volunteer engage community members in program activities that include cooking and gardening and sharing their crafts and talents with others
• Administration and Governance – volunteers support the administrative team by accepting donations, making copies, stuffing envelopes, answering phones, data entry and assist with fundraising initiatives, events and The Second Door Thrift Store
