Carcasses of almost three dozen snow geese dumped south of Warner

Alberta Fish and Wildlife are investigating after dozens of snow geese were dumped south of Warner this spring.
On April 25th, Lethbridge Fish and Wildlife officers found four garbage bags at the end of Range Road 17-3.
They contained the carcasses of 34 birds.
While snow geese may be hunted during the spring season from March 15th to June 15th they must be used and not wasted or abandoned.
