Fire advisory lifted in Lethbridge county

Lethbridge County has lifted its fire advisory after some wet weather led to decreased wildfire risk.

“The County reminds the public that care should always be taken when burning, regardless of weather conditions. Fire permits are required for most burning activities. They are free of charge and can be applied for online or in-person at the Lethbridge administration office,” reads a news release from the county.

Residents are also reminded they can never burn specific things, even with a fire permit. these include plastic, rubber, wood treated with preservatives and animal waste.
