Neudorf takes new position in Alberta cabinet

Lethbridge-East MLA Nathan Neudorf is now minister of affordability and utilities and vice-chair of the treasury board. Premier Danielle Smith announced her new cabinet on June 9, which consists of 25 members. In the previous term, there were 27 cabinet ministers.

“I am so pleased to have this team working with me to deliver on the promises we made to Albertans during the election. These are not just our government’s priorities, they are Albertans’ priorities. The next four years start today, and I can’t wait to get back to work with each of my cabinet colleagues,” Smith said.

Neudorf held the role of infrastructure premier and deputy premier in the previous government

Official results from the provincial election show he won the Lethbridge-East riding by 636 votes over NDP candidate Rob Miyashiro. Over 57 per cent of eligible voters cast their ballot in the Lethbridge East riding.
