Tourism Lethbridge has launched a new program to promote agri-food tourism. Sip, Taste, Explore! A Southern Alberta Agriventure is a free experience pass to help people discover local food in southern Alberta.
Pass holders can check in at more than 30 local businesses and attractions to earn points towards prizes, discounts and promotions.
The program also acts as a tool for Tourism Lethbridge to gather data on visitation and its goal is to generate greater visibility for participating locations, while stimulating economic activity and job growth in the region.
“Tourism Lethbridge is delighted to continue to expand our agri-food tourism offerings. We know how great our local food scene is, and we are thrilled to continue to be a part of sharing it with the world,” said Erin Crane, CEO of Tourism Lethbridge.
