2023 Salvation Army Kettle Campaign exceeds goal by more than $28K

When the bells stopped ringing for the 2023 Salvation Army Kettle Campaign, the Salvation Army in Lethbridge reported they surpassed their goal for the holiday campaign.

During the month-long campaign, which ran from November 23rd to December 23rd, the Lethbridge branch raised $128,678.31, exceeding the $100,000 goal they went into the season with.

Lieutenant Zach Marshall says the organization is thankful for the support from the Lethbridge community.

“We are completely blown away by the generosity and support of the people of Lethbridge. Our community has come together to ensure that we can continue in our mission of giving hope today.”

Back in December, Marshall told mylethbridgenow.com the money will be used throughout the year to support local programming. These programs include the Toys for Tots Campaign, the food distribution program to aid those in need, and several community-oriented initiatives “designed to foster unity and support amongst Lethbridge residents.”
