Police search for suspect in northside robbery

Lethbridge police are looking to the public to help find a suspect connected to a robbery at a northside store.

“On March 11, at approximately 5:40 p.m., an unknown male entered Canadian Tire along the 1200 block of 2A Avenue North and was confronted by a Loss Prevention Officer after being observed concealing merchandise in his pockets. The subject ran from the store and when the LPO attempted to arrest him, he was assaulted by the male,” reads a news release from the Lethbridge Police Service.

The suspect is described as about 25-years-old,  5’7” to 5’8” tall with red hair with a scar or parting on the left side. He was wearing a camouflage face mask, black Carhart jacket, grey pants and black shoes.

Police ask anyone who could help identify him to contact them.
