Sunday night snow removal crews started working on school zones, priority two snow routes. Work being done in school zones includes graders creating windrows, that crews will come back and haul the snow away Monday night.
When dropping off students on Monday morning, guardians are being advised to be aware of the windrows and also to plan extra time for their drive.
According to a statement from the city, “This short-term inconvenience is the best approach to get school zones cleared and safe for all in the coming days.”
Over the weekend crews focused on priority one routes, with the city implementing snow routes on Saturday morning, which were later lifted.
