One person has been killed as a result of a collision on Highway 3 near Brocket.
At approximately 7 p.m., Monday, Piikani Nation, Pincher Creek and Fort Macleod RCMP responded to a report of a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 3 near Brocket. Upon arrival, officers determined a passenger vehicle had collided with a semi truck.
The driver of the passenger vehicle, a 47-year-old female resident of Red Deer, was declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi received minor injuries.
The RCMP collision reconstructionist attended and the investigation continues.
