2023 Street Machine Weekend
Friday July 14– No official Street Wheelers Club events.
Saturday July 15 – 100ft drags at Exhibition Park in front of the Grand Stands

Participant gates / tech open 7am, close 9:30am
Spectator gates open at 9am
$20 driver, $10 for crew member (limited to only 1 crew member per driver)
Spectators $10, 13 and under free
Drivers meeting 9:30, racing starts 10am
For those who are planning on running they’re vehicle in the 100ft dash, we run under NHRA rules, here’s some quick rule reminders:
Helmets are mandatory!
Mufflers are mandatory (and exhaust must go through the muffler, no exhaust cutouts)
Drivers must wear pants and closed toe shoes while driving.
Fire jackets are required for anything with an aftermarket turbo, supercharger or nitrous.
All vehicles will be required to pass a tech inspection. This includes things like tires, lug nuts, no fluid leaks, battery hold down, coolant overflow, etc. Tech inspectors will have the only say on vehicle, no debate. Any vehicle with dirt/gravel on vehicle or chassis will be turned away.
Due to safety equipment limitations, no vehicles over 5000lbs will be permitted. Our safety blocks aren’t heavy enough to stop anything heavier.
Due to insurance restrictions, all electric powered vehicles and all motorcycles will not be allowed.
No alcohol permitted in pits, anyone driver or crew caught drinking outside of pits will be removed immediately!
Classes
The Classing starts with Class 100 which is anything under 6 cylinders, and each of these “power adders” bumps you up the respective classes.
6 cylinder +1 class
8 cylinder +2 classes
Turbo/nitrous/supercharger +1 class each
Awd +1 class
Sticky tire +1 class
Classes are as follows.
Class 100 New Street
Class 200 True Street
Class 300 Real Street
Class 400 Quick Street
Class 500 Super Street
Class 600 Pro Street
Sunday July 16 – Show and Shine at the Galt Gardens downtown Lethbridge
Held at Galt Gardens in the downtown
$20 per vehicle
Registration
–8:00AM-12:00PM Sunday
Awards at 3:00PM
NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED- ZERO TOLLERANCE!
NO public drones to be used at the event.
