There will be two separate ceremonies for Lethbridge residents to attend to mark Remembrance Day tomorrow. The larger one will be at the Lethbridge and District Exhibition and will include a parade and service hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion. Doors will open at 9 a.m. and the service will begin at 10:30 at the South Pavilion.
The second service will be at the Cenotaph on Veterans Ave (4th Ave) in front of the Yates Memorial Centre, starting at 10:40 a.m. It will be conducted by the local 20th Independent Field Battery R.C.A. and will include a scheduled fly by of the RCAF C-17 transport plane from the City of Lethbridge 429 Squadron, if operations allow. The Cenotaph service will have a reduced ceremony.
The Legion will also be open from 1 p.m. and the Lethbridge Military Museum will be open noon to 4 p.m. for Remembrance Day.
