AHS to hold engagement session on Picture Butte ambulatory clinic closure

Alberta Health Services will host an engagement session about healthcare and the closure of the Piyami Health Centre ambulatory clinic in Picture Butte.

It is planned for Sept. 13 from 7-8 p.m. a the Picture Butte Community Centre and will give residents a chance to ask representatives questions and learn more about the closure and what will remain at the health centre.

“As the [ambulatory care clinic] is only a portion of the overall facility, this session will provide clarity around the healthcare services that will remain and the recruitment efforts that will support primary care in the area,” reads a news release from AHS.
