Petwise Blog: Embracing the Magic of Rabbits and Easter Celebrations 🥕🐰🥕

We’re Welcoming Spring & Easter….
Rabbits are Lagomorphs, their order contains two families, pikas & rabbits & hares.
These adorable fluffy creatures are extremely intelligent and they’re capable of using logic to solve problems.  They’re very social & adore companionship.
Bunnies are strict herbivores, babies rely on an abundance of alfalfa hay & pellets, adults on timothy hay with a small portion of pellets & fresh vegetables with a few fruits.
They litter train quite easily too.
Bunnies can be a little possessive & enjoy marking things around your house with the scent gland on their chin, their way of calling dibs on something, and letting you & the other pets know that said item now belongs to them.
They may grunt with disapproval or stomp their foot as an alarm or way to get your attention and tell you something’s wrong.
They’ll chatter their teeth when they cuddle to purr and they give kisses in the form of many little licks.
They’re incredibly gentle, good-natured, loving creatures and they need their room to roam & run, but always be sure to bunny-proof your house and electrical cords.
When rabbits are exercising & showing gratitude & happiness, they’ll jump in the air, turning and twisting with joy and kick out their feet doing bunny binkies and they’ll zig-zag about while sprinting doing zoomies.
