Petwise Blog: The Power of Pets πŸ¦œπŸ±πŸ°πŸΆπŸ¦”πŸΉ

The Power of Pets & why the human animal bond is so important…..
The unconditional love of your fur, feathered or scaled family member is massively rewarding!
They can be so funny, charming, sweet, entertaining and of course loving.
There are some health benefits that come with having an adoring animal in your household.
An example of one of their superpowers is that studies have shown repeatedly that a person’s good mood increases and bad mood decreases around pets!
Spending time with our pets releases endorphins in our brain, which help us to relax.
When we play, interact or cuddle with our beloved pets, that releases oxytocin, the hormone linked with emotional bonding. It also releases dopamine and serotonin, which calm and relax.
Having a pet can decrease stress.
Interactions with animals have been shown to decrease levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
Having a pet can also lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels!
They can actually improve heart health…..all while warming our hearts daily!!”
Animals can be a great source of comfort and support.
Other health benefits include decreased loneliness and anxiety, better sleep and more physical activity.
Animals can also protect their home by sounding an alarm for their family if something is wrong or out of place.
They have been shown to help children with emotional and social skills as well, teaching children valuable lessons like responsibility, trust, compassion, respect and patience.
Recent studies suggest that early exposure to pets may help protect a young child from allergies & asthma.
Pets have evolved to become acutely attuned to their human’s behavior and emotions.
Dogs & Cats for example are able to understand many of the words we use, but they’re even better at interpreting our tone of voice, body language and gestures.
Being around animals daily and people who also adore them is just a fantastic atmosphere!
We are here today because of the incredible support over the years from our community!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this support!
We are grateful!πŸ™
I want to wish everyone listening today a wonderful new year and all the very best to you and your loved ones in 2024!!
